Speaking of animals, I thought this was a great quote (forgot the origin...I read it a few weeks ago).
Thousands of people were shocked about the oil spill and did what they could to save the birds, yet on Thanksgiving, they had no problem slicing a turkey with a knife.

Exactly....Same thing with people who love earthworms in their gardens because they help condition the soil. But give those same people a fishing pole and they have no problem punching holes in earthworms with a barbed hook.
There is a big difference in birds in the wild getting oil on them and eating a turkey (that has been raised to eat) for thanksgiving. You don't want to eat chickens and turkeys fine don't think I'm going to stop.
